Build forms
by talking.

anota ships with a built-in MCP server that connects to Anthropic's Claude and Claude Code. Describe the form you need — in chat or from your terminal — and Claude builds it, publishes it, and reports back on your responses.

Approved by Anthropic for the Claude connectors directory. Included on every anota plan — the free one too.

claude.ai
Create a registration form for my photography workshop with name, email, and experience level.

Done. I created “Registration — Photography workshop” in your anota account with three fields:

Full name Email Experience level

Want me to publish it and share the link?

Connection guide

Connect in two minutes

One API key, then pick where you work: the Claude app or Claude Code in your terminal. No code.

1

Create your API key

In your anota account, generate a key from API keys. For security it's shown only once — copy it right then.

2

Connect your Claude

Add the connector in the Claude app, or with one command in Claude Code — both paths are below.

3

Ask in your own words

Create, edit, add logic, publish, or review submissions. Claude works anota for you.

In the Claude app

claude.ai, the desktop app, and mobile. One-click sign-in, no keys to copy:

  1. In Settings → Connectors, add a custom connector with this URL:
    https://anota.cloud/mcp
  2. Click Connect and sign in to anota.
  3. Choose the workspace and permissions, then click Allow access. Done.

In Claude Code

One command in your terminal and anota is available in every project.

terminal
$ claude mcp add --transport http -s user anota https://anota.cloud/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer anota_sk_…"
$ claude mcp get anota
✔ Connected

Ideas for your first conversation

“Create a registration form for my photography workshop with name, email, and experience level.”
“How many responses did the contact form get this week? Show me the ones still unread.”
“Publish the satisfaction survey and give me the link to share it.”

What it can do

Your whole form workflow, in one conversation

The connector gives Claude the same tools you use in anota — with your permission and only inside your workspace.

Create forms from a description

Describe what you need — fields, options, required answers, widths — and Claude builds the complete form in your account.

Edit and extend fields

Add a phone field, change options, or make a question required — with a single sentence.

Publish and share

Put your form live in a moment and get the public link, ready to send to anyone.

Review submissions with filters

Ask for new, flagged, or spam responses and change their status — without opening the inbox.

Quick stats

Total responses, counts by status, and daily responses for the last 7 days, right in the conversation.

Start from templates

Ask Claude to start from an anota template — contact, events, HR — and adapt it to your case.

Your data lives in anota; Claude accesses it only through your key, and only your workspace. Revoke it anytime.

Frequently asked questions

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude connect to applications securely. The anota connector is an MCP server: it exposes your forms as tools Claude can use for you during the conversation.

Does it work with Claude Code?

Yes. Run claude mcp add with the anota URL and your key as an Authorization: Bearer header, and all 26 tools are available in your terminal. It's the same server the Claude app connects to.

How much does the connector cost?

Nothing. The connector is included on every anota plan, the free one too. Your Claude plan is separate, directly with Anthropic.

Which Claude plans support connectors?

Any Claude plan that allows custom connectors: add anota from Settings → Connectors and sign in with one click. Claude Code works on any plan, with your API key.

How do I revoke access?

If you connected with sign-in, go to Account → Connected apps and click Disconnect. If you use an API key, delete it on the API keys page. Either way, access is cut off instantly.

Is it safe to give Claude access?

Yes. Your key travels encrypted over HTTPS, is stored hashed — never in plain text — and only grants access to your workspace. Claude sees only what you ask for in the conversation, and your data never leaves anota for anywhere else.

Your next form starts with a sentence

Create your API key, connect Claude, and tell it what you need. anota takes care of the rest.
